About the Founder
Hey, I'm Howie.
I moved to Canada three years ago, but before that, I ran my own press on nail business for three years after graduating. I didn’t have everything figured out at the time. I just knew I wanted to create something that felt honest and personal to me.
I studied fine art in the UK and mainly work with oil painting, along with abstract and mixed media pieces. My work is emotional and instinctive, and art has always been a way for me to express feelings that are hard to put into words.
ARTip comes from that same place.

How It Started
ARTip began from a simple intention to - create something meaningful.
With a background in fine art and branding, the idea was never just to make products, but to create something that holds emotion and thought behind it.
The brand was first built in Hong Kong, then paused, and is now being rebuilt in Canada. Different place, same intention.

Building Again
Starting over has become a big part of ARTip.
Moving to a new country meant rebuilding everything from the beginning: my life, my confidence, my creative path, and eventually this brand. Nothing was handed to me, and most of it has been learning through trial, mistakes, and figuring things out along the way.
ARTip is still growing, slowly and imperfectly, but that’s what makes it meaningful to me. It’s built with real experiences, real emotions, and real care behind every step.
What ARTip Believes
ARTip believes art doesn't have to be big to matter.

Looking Forward
ARTip is growing toward something bigger than a single brand.
As an artist myself, I know how many talented artists create meaningful work that often goes unseen or underrepresented. In the future, ARTip hopes to become a platform where artists can collaborate, share their work, and transform their ideas into wearable art people can carry into everyday life.
The goal is to make art feel more accessible, personal, and connected to people, while spreading creativity, self expression, and small moments of joy through wearable pieces.

Our Team
Right now, ARTip is entirely run by me.
I handle the nail design, branding, marketing, content, product photography, social media, packaging, website, customer support, and everything behind the scenes as the brand grows.
ARTip is still learning and figuring things out step by step, which is what makes it feel so personal and real to me.
I hope to grow it alongside other artists and creatives in the future.
